BEANS GUISADO WITH SOTANGHON

Ingredients  :

3 cloves garlic, minced

1  medium sized onion, chopped into small pieces

250 grams  ground pork

3 tablespoons soy sauce

Ground pepper

1  tablespoon cooking oil

2 glasses of  water

200 grams sotanghon  (Chinese  long rice stick)

500 grams  beans, sliced thinly and diagonally

Salt  and seasoning to  taste



Procedure:
  • Saute garlic  and onions until slightly brown 
  • Add the ground pork and season with soysauce. Let simmer until it comes dry and oil from the pork fats comes out. Let the  ground pork cook for  a  minute on its own oil.
  • Add ground pepper 
  • Add ½ glass water and let it cook until sauce  becomes slightly dry
  • Add the beans and simmer until it becomes half  cooked
  • Pour  1  and ½   glass of water  and boil for a minute.  Check the taste if its good enough or you need to add  a little more seasoning to make it taste  better.
  • Add the sotanghon  (Chinese  long rice stick)
